In February 2019, Lenny released a first EP called “Pistil Boy”. He then played at Dour Festival, Monkey Week Séville, Botanique Brussels and is nowready for the release of his first album “Satellite Appetite” for January 2022
ABOUT “SATELLITE APPETITE” ALBUM
On the 14th of January 2022, Satellite Appetite, the Lenny Pistol’s debut album, was released digitally and on audio tapes.
All the songs on this album were recorded from late 2019 to late 2020, between Mons and Brussels.
Satellite Appetite refers to the desire of always going further, especially concerning the technological progress.
Yet the purpose of the album is to both criticize and contemplate this process simultaneously. Assembling together digital home recording techniques as loops, sound layers and plug-ins’ use utilizing cheap vintage synths and pedals. The result is a DIY pop album influenced by art-funk, new-wave, and minimal-wave.

Léonard Thiébaut “Lenny” is a self-made musician and producer, and it feels like he’s been doing dream/bedroom pop since always. His music is more like the original soundtrack of a fantastic world he created, made of dreams, weirdness and childhood memories. His first album “Satellite Appetite” will be out 14th of January 2022.
